By accessing or using MyNaijaGuide ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account and use our services. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate and current information during registration.
4. Reviews & Content
When you submit a review, you grant MyNaijaGuide a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote your content on the Platform. You represent that:
- Your review reflects a genuine experience with the business.
- You have not been paid or incentivised to write a misleading review.
- Your content does not contain defamatory, abusive, or illegal material.
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or our community guidelines.
5. Business Listings
Business owners who claim a listing agree to provide accurate business information. Misrepresentation of a business identity or fraudulent claims may result in removal and account suspension.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Post fake, misleading, or spam reviews.
- Harass, threaten, or impersonate other users.
- Attempt to manipulate ratings or review counts.
- Use automated tools to scrape or access the Platform.
- Violate any applicable Nigerian or international law.
7. Subscriptions & Payments
Paid business plans are billed on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. Refunds are handled in accordance with our refund policy outlined at the time of purchase.
8. Limitation of Liability
MyNaijaGuide is provided "as is." We do not guarantee the accuracy of user-generated reviews. We are not liable for any decisions made based on information found on the Platform.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
